Submit a Design

If you want to create your own style for the table gallery, please download a copy of the homepage(right click -> save as) and replace the style sheet in the LINK element with yours.

The backend does add a class called "odd" to every second row of the table, which is something you can use in your style sheet.

Before you submit your entry:

  • Please make sure that the CSS works in all browsers you can reach. It does not need to look the same in all, but the table should be readable and not exceed the restraints of the page. Must-have browsers are: MSIE 6, Firefox 1.0 and Safari.
  • Please make sure that the CSS URL you provide is a valid location and works when not linked from the same page! Many entries so far prevented "hotlinking".
  • Please ensure the server with your CSS allows for a lot of hits / traffic. Currently there are about 20000 pageloads a day here!
  • Check if your design is really a nice example of a usable table - it should be readable (font sizes bigger than 12 pixels), resizable and have enough contrast even for low vision visitors. This site is about showing reusable table designs, not how good you are in designing images and using replacement techniques.
  • We can offer to host the CSS in exchange of a small paypal donation, please state if that is needed.
